A Belated Happy Holiday Greetings to all of you.December 31, 2008
I want to update you on the 2008 Annual Meeting held in Reno, Nevada this moth
We elected Stephanie Hightower as President of USATF. Many of you will remember her from the National Junior Olympics here in Omaha.
I was re-elected to the USATF National Youth Division Board as an at large delegate. I will again be on the NARB (National Athlete Review Board). And I think I told you earlier I was re-elected Vice President of Nebraska.
January Activities
• 2008 USATF Nebraska Award Dinner (Marquette Dixon and Jade King were selected to the All Nebraska Team)
February Activities
• Indoor meet at University of Nebraska (actual date March 1) – but we need to find a facility for indoor practice.
My dual residence (Omaha and Texas) was certainly exercised during this holiday season and I missed all of the Omaha snow in exchange for sunny golf days.
My best wishes for a great 2009 season and I sincerely appreciate you allowing me to be a part of this and your life.
