WELCOME TO 2017 TRACK & FIELD SEASON

Yes, it has begun…. we have had the 2017 Wings of Omaha Track Club meet and had quite a turn out…. over 500 athletes……but with great parents and excellent coaches and outstanding leadership with our Head Coach, Coach Tony we finished in a new record time.  Congrats all

While we are congratulating let’s do a special one for Lauren Harris who at the Metro Middle School Championships won 3 events and set the record in the high jump.  Then the next day traveled to Gothenburg Nebraska for the Nebraska Junior High State Championship and finished first in 200-400-HJ…. setting a record in all three, and was selected the outstanding female athlete and compiled enough points as a team of one to get the runner up team award

CONGRATS LAUREN

This will be a quick season as it has started very fast…. this week will be the Nebraska high school state championship…. our Region meet will be at the University of Wisconsin in Lacrosse, Wisconsin…the USATF National Championships are at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas....we have a full running season in Nebraska...so let's get started

We, again, want to say Congrats to all of you....and most especially to the parents who help get you where you need to be and a BIG BIG THANK YOU to the coaches.  These women and men do it without any compensation---only for the love of the sport and concern to development you boys and girls into productive responsible young men and young women. Remember:
